Launching SESE Hub

Screengrab of the SESE Hub homepage

With some trepidation, we will be launching SESE Hub to a small and select group of Brookes staff on Monday.

George Roberts and myself have drawn on our experiences of online community building in national projects such as Emerge and ELESIG.

After reviewing Facebook, Ning and other contenders, we have created this networking site in Brookes’ installation of Google. As it is only available to those with @brookes logins, I’ve put a screengrab of the homepage here instead.

SESE Hub site will sit alongside our existing Graduate Attributes in Action wiki and resources stored in the Teaching Collection in our repository, RADAR. I suspect there will be some talk of which site for what purpose.

Somehow this feels much harder to do in our institution. All suggestions welcome!
