Want to enhance your employability? Become an ePioneer at Brookes.

Please can you draw Brookes staff and students’ attention to this call for epioneers…

Dear Student

Are you looking for something that will really put the edge on your C.V.? Do you want to be part of a new and exciting project that helps you develop your own digital literacies, as well as helping improve those of staff and other students?

Brookes is currently recruiting students to become ePioneers as part of the InStePP (Institutional Student ePioneer Partnerships) project which brings students and staff together in partnership to improve their digital literacies.

As an ePioneer, you can seek out work or be commissioned by staff to advise them in various digital fields. It could be Moodle, it could be Social Media.
You will receive training and support as well as recognition for your efforts in the form of a Future Consultant Certificate. The Future Consultant course will be run by Brookes Careers and Employment Centre on 17th and 25th October 2012 and is endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM). This course is a compulsory part of your initial ePioneer training.

If this opportunity is for you, please come to a short follow up briefing (and signing up) session on your campus as follows.

  • 1 October – Gipsy Lane Campus – 12.15pm – 1.15pm  Boardroom 1
  • 2 October – Marston Road Campus – 12.15pm – 1.15pm  MR1.71 (Gym block)
  • 3 October – Harcourt Hill Campus – 12.15pm – 1.15pm B138
