TeaLab 31/01/2014

Hi All,

Welcome back to a new term of TeaLab gatherings.
Our first get-together will be this Friday in room BG01 in Gipsy Lane, from 10:30am until 12pm.
The session will be facilitated by Abi Ball from the Media Workshop and the title is ‘Synchronous technologies – the answer to poor online engagement?’

This session will be broken down into three parts.  The first part
will be a presentation of my research on the use of synchronous and
asynchronous technologies on distance learning programmes.

The second part will be groupwork where the group will be presented
with three questions concerning online technologies which they will be
asked to discuss and feed back on to everyone.

The third part will be an overview of the changes
taking place in Moodle (the tools we are losing and what we will be
replacing them with).

Come along if you can, and remember to tell anyone else who you think may be interested.
Looking forward to seeing you all there,
